Well it looks like a snowy weekend for all you park rats! Hope you Tech-Washed those sweatshirts. We’ve been busy pushing vast quantities of snow in the Stomping Grounds as well as for Outrageous Air, so you’ll probably notice the big line down the center is well on its way to completion. We have one takeoff good to go with plans to get another feature set up on the left side of the mound over the next week. Now with most of the major pushing done, we should have time to change some stuff up that’s been out for awhile. The down-flat-down rail is up for you super jibbers; and as always, we’re open to suggestions. Have a fun and safe holiday weekend, and don’t forget to enjoy some powder turns.

I guess all I need to do is leave for a week to get the snow to come. We’ve been pushing hard this week to get more features up and to keep what we have dug out. The Crystal Rider-X is finished for those who’ve been asking, and we have a couple more jibs in the Stomping Grounds as well. The first jump in the big line is complete and we plan to continue pushing on the second and third over the next week. Plan on seeing another small feature in the Terrain Garden after tonight; and looking at the weather, we might have a sunny warm weekend in the park. Please check out all features before using them, they are constantly changing with usage, weather, and grooming; and have fun.

Pretty amazing what a difference 5 inches of snow can make. With the new snow this week, we've been able to rebuild the Starfish park and add a new jump/rail option at the bottom, and we've been able to continue pushing snow on the right line of the Stomping Grounds park. We have a new flat-down box or banked wall, just depending how you hit it so get creative, leading into the first jump, and Cole spent the majority of Wednesday night winching snow up from the Copper Ridge area to get the third mound built up. With a couple more nights of winching and a little luck, we'll have a really fun line for USASA. We're still a ways off from having enough snow to start pushing a large line in the center of the park, but with the new features in Starfish, and the stuff on the right, I think you'll be able to keep yourselves entertained for a little while. As always, check out each features before you hit it; don't expect them to all be the same from day to day, because while you all are home asleep or facefriending each other, we're on the mountain moving snow around one little pile at a time. Have a great week and weekend, be safe, and we look forward to seeing you in the parks.

Interesting weather we've been having. One of the best days I've had all year on Tuesday to downpour to ice rink. But the forecast looks good, and with night skiing cutting back to normal after this weekend, we'll really be able to get to work in the parks. I hope all of you had a great Christmas, got all the XXXL clothing and dangly excessories you were hoping for. We'll start pulling out features and changing things up this week. Get some jumps going in the main park, I know you're all chomping at the bit as am I. If you have ideas, always feel free to stop by the park shack. For this week, I'm really hoping to get the right line built keeping the wallride in it, changing up the other jib features, and with two jumps to finish it off; so keep your fingers crossed for lots of snow. we're also planning on getting the Rider-X going in the next couple of weeks, expanding the Starfish park, and adding to the Terrain Garden. Cole's back on Saturday so we'll be doubling our cat power. As for the next few days, have a safe and fun weekend, get some powder runs in, and have a great New Years. Looking forward to getting some stuff built for you all.

Well, opening weekend has come and gone, and it was a pretty darn fun one if you ask me. Good snow, some sunshine, a few boxes to slide. We have several new features that are near completion, and the goal is to get them up the mountain this week. The road conditions may play into that, but we’ll do our best. I’ve been driving around the Stomping Grounds park in a cat all day, and it’s still a little thin to get anything up in there, but with the new snow we’re supposed to get today and tomorrow, and a little luck with the temperatures later in the week, it’s not out of the question. If nothing else, we’ll get some more features up on Musical chairs to slide on.

Another weekend is behind us, we hope you enjoyed the new features in the park. With no new snow in the forecast, we’ll do what we can to scrape enough together to set some more stuff up over the next few nights. We have a few features in mind, and we’ll need to tone down the Terrain Garden to make it more useable for beginners and little kids. If you haven’t gone through the park pass program yet this season, get it done this week; we will be checking and I don’t want you to miss out on any fun. You can go through the program at the park shack, or you can go online and take care of everything there. Hopefully we’ll get rid of this high pressure system soon, keep your fingers crossed. Looking forward to seeing everybody out there.
